About the Event

The Youth Benefit Golf Tournament is an annual charity golf event held in the great state of Oregon.  The tournament is scheduled for Saturday Sept. 14^th, 2024.  We have been in existence since 2001 and have had minimal to good success in gathering charitable funds for Santiam Canyon youth projects, grants and scholarships.

The grants and scholarship funds go to students residing in the Santiam Canyon (Stayton-Sublimity to Detroit-Idanha).  The Santiam canyon is a somewhat financially depressed area so it has been very challenging to generate the support that we need to disperse grant and scholarship funds to all who apply.  We feel that we must do better but it is very tough when competing with the higher end golfing establishments in the surrounding area.  We would also like to do better with our prize packages so that our participants can be well rewarded after giving of their time, effort and dollars to this worthy event.

We will be accepting donations year-round but would like to receive all Grant and Scholarship donations by March 31^st, 2024.  Tournament donations and player registrations should be received at least 1 week prior to event date, which is Saturday Sept. 7^th, 2024.
